A Home-Spun Garden Party Wedding

Today's couple, Collette and Paul, certainly made probably the most of the long June days for her wedding weekend, marrying outside from the backdrop of the rolling Herefordshire hills. The bride and groom are Collette, a supply chain worker, and Paul, a support worker, who married on 2 June within the leafy gardens.

The historic house and it is unique grounds offered an excellent backdrop for any relaxed garden party wedding weekend, filled with homemade garden games, gin cocktails, and a lot of sunshine. A loose theme of greens, golds, and rose blush underpinned your day, which trigger the pure white of Collette's gown beautifully.

Collette's gown is just exquisite; I adore the clean lines and modern feel developed by the plunging bodice using its lacy back. She chose this design in Chester.

"I loved the actual way it made me feel. It was elegant and straightforward but still striking. It was not the same as any other dress I had tried on (and I had tried a great deal!) or seen to date."

The lace back was echoed within the beautiful lace edging of her dramatic veil, and also the intricate tiara, also from, that adorned her blonde up-do.

These minty green draped bridesmaid dresses were found at FeelTimes. Worn using their shoes and fresh gypsophila within their hair, they appear so fresh, relaxed, and striking. Each girl carried a bouquet of dusky pink roses, eucalyptus, and much more gypsophila, smaller versions of Collette's bouquet.

"We went for dusky pinks and green colors. I wanted a cascading bouquet to enhance my dress. I love eucalyptus so wanted a great deal of that."

To suit summertime day, Paul decided on a fresh navy suit paired having a crisp white shirt and pale pink tie. His groomsmen wore their very own blue suits to match plus they all completed their look with dainty white buttonholes.

"The best photographer in the world! Lottie is professional and attentive during the run-up to the wedding and also the day itself. She did everything she could for the greatest shot and extremely made it all feel totally easy and relaxed."

Back outside, your guests relaxed to reside music from bathed within the glow of the fairy lights and firepit.

The thoroughly modern 'Painterly' cake, simply banded with pastel ribbons, was developed by the bride's closest friend and maid of honor, Imogen.

"We wanted it easy and elegant around the outside and wild around the inside, similar to the cakes Imogen and I baked whenever we were young. We often made multicolored cakes to place our parents removed from eating them. There wasn't much left over from the wedding cake though!"

Back inside, the pair took towards the dance floor for their first dance to Louis Armstrong's 'La Vie En Rose'.

"How are you able to not love this track? I possess a love of jazz and Edith Piaf. Paul heard it around the radio and knew it had been the right one."
