Luxe-Eco Friendly Wedding Dresses
Those individuals unfamiliar with should realize that this Nepalese-born, London-based designer has, from the very inception of her business, been creating beautiful, environmentally friendly wedding dresses and wedding gowns for brides using ethical and sustainable processes and materials.
I wish I could have discovered you before, as I felt millions of dollars during these gowns! I know it sounds cheesy, but I would like to get married again during these gowns, obviously, with the same man, she laughs. Fabrics are extremely soft and kind and I felt I can eat, have some fun, dance all day long & night, and be comfy, and relaxed.
"We realize that many bridesmaid dresses possess a stereotypical image within their minds with regards to sustainable weddings, and thus I greatly wanted to create an editorial shoot that proved you don't have to compromise on styling to be able to wear a beautifully made and ethically produced wedding gown. For me, it's about finding the right suppliers the ones to help bring your visions and dreams to fruition."
"I am keen to reinvent the standard white dress and show brides that stylish, modern bridal fashion can be produced that is also more loving towards our precious environment. When a Bride visits my boutique, we make time to see the beauty from the silhouette, but many importantly we explore her unique personality."
"Whilst I design a brand new collection each year, our specialty is our bespoke services – that's, designing gowns on your own. I wanted this shoot to project a feeling of our bespoke service – that anything is actually possible design-wise. I especially like to create elegant designs having a contemporary twist."
"My model, Charlotte, looked stunning within the beautiful bespoke Abelia, which perfectly balances the standard silhouette of the full-skirted gown, whilst being a modern and much more adaptable two-piece top and skirt."
"The second bespoke wedding gown that model Charlotte wore was 'Laelia – my own tribute towards the craftsmanship of Nepal, home country. The detailed operation in this skirt is finished by our talented artisans and provides an excellent example of their strong technical background; everything the thing is on this shoot was handcrafted, from the fabric towards the embroidery to the tiniest little finishes around the dress."
"The Cyra gown gives a rustic vibe with minimal detailing. For me, good design is all about highlighting and flattering the silhouette of the lovely bride. We desired to feature this specific design because of its warm tone as well as for brides which are not searching for a typical wedding gown, however for something more relaxed and laidback and crafted using eco-materials and techniques."
"Our final piece, the rather breath-taking Valeria gown, is particularly for brides who're more attracted to autumn and winter weddings. We think about this piece as our signature because of its traditional embroidery and distinctive hand-crafted details – all expertly applied by my team of Nepalese artisans."
We sough a 'perfectly imperfect' vibe and I love the outcomes. With a late October date for that photoshoot, seasonal flowers were limited. However, Fran was in a position to source the last of the season’s pretty pom-pom dahlias from the local grower, so enthusiastic about his blooms, he went out every evening to cover all of them with frost netting to ensure they were ideal for the photoshoot.
When it found bridal hair and makeup, the creative team wanted an all-natural, timeless, and classic vibe, using sustainable, vegan, and animal-friendly cosmetic makeup products.
"Apart from being a top professional in her own field, we desired to collaborate with a makeup artist, for that amazing skill she's to transform the 'girl next door' right into a movie star. When Tina met our lovely Charlotte, she was inspired by her natural splendor and so just easily enhanced it."
"Our shoot even included an attractive old vintage car, kindly given by a local villager. It was an incredible 1933 Morris 10 – a sensational antique of the vehicle, that actually was an ideal addition to the luxury woodland shoot."
