An Elegant and Multicultural Wedding within the Autumn

This is a celebration that beautifully fuses Pakistani, Kashmiri, and Scottish traditions inside a wonderful and historic venue, with everything uniting for a joyful and touchingly personalized day. This may be the wedding of Suzy and Zeeshan, who both operate in community pharmacies. They celebrated around 14 October 2018 at Pollok Country Park, within the Southside of Glasgow.

Suzy's bridesmaids wore blush pink pleated maxi dresses, that they wore with shoes and hair combs.

Suzy's radiant and romantic make-up look was made for her by a close friend, and her pretty hair was styled by Lana Cairns.

"Lana did a truly incredible job around the day with my hair and my bridesmaid's hair. Most importantly, she could attach an incredibly heavy veil onto my hair without compromising my hairstyle, also it stayed invest the day with simply no pain, or any problems whatsoever."

When choosing a wedding dresses, Suzy knew that they wanted to wear a design that was a fusion of the traditional Western, white wedding dress, and also the intricate embroidery and embellishment of Asian style dress.

"I approached, who concentrates on Asian style dresses, but who've done some Western designs also. I looked at numerous different styles online, including numerous styles from, and took inspiration from various areas of different dresses."

The finished dress was exquisite, having a hand-beaded and embroidered long-sleeved bodice, falling into some long, flowing skirt having a beautiful puddle train.

"We chose this venue once we both spent time there becoming an adult, and also have a lot of happy memories there. It was local for many of our guests, but felt like an escape from the town."

"It was extremely important to both of us the day included both traditions and also the style of my hubby's Pakistani/Kashmiri heritage, but it also was built with a real Scottish, traditional feel into it. It was vital to us to incorporate certain religious traditions."

"Our wedding was unique, because it was neither a completely traditional Asian style wedding, nor maybe it was a traditional Scottish fairytale type wedding. We checked out what was important and special to us, and combined two cultures and customs to make it a day perfect for all of us."

Suzy was accompanied on the aisle by her father, and decided on a piece of music by composer Alexandre Desplat, in the soundtrack to Harry Potter and also the Deathly Hallows (Part 2), called A New Beginning.

"I'm an enormous Harry Potter fan! This song is used within the last scene of the last movie. It has sad tones at the start, but turns into a song filled with hope for the near future, so felt it was ideal for the emotions involved with walking on the aisle and achieving my dad accompany me on the aisle."

Suzy and Zeeshan had worked for a similar company for a long time, coupled with mutual friends. They started to work at the same location together, and also the rest is history!

After the ceremony, Suzy and Zeeshan enjoyed some quiet, just-married time together having a walk within the gardens of Pollok House, surrounded by the glorious autumnal colors.

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"My advice could be to accept in the beginning that there may be things that will stress you out of trouble and fail, but concentrate on what's vital – the adoring you have for your partner and also the love you have for the people you'll share your entire day with. That is what causes it to be perfect."

"Your big day will always have small hiccups regardless of how much you attempt to avoid it, but we wouldn't return and change anything. It was perfect for us."
