Lena & David's Classic & Romantic Cluny Castle Wedding

I'm whisking you as much as beautiful Scotland today for any modern classic of the wedding within the most beautiful castle. Having canceled their postponed plans for any wedding in Barcelona, Spain, the pair found and planned their day in only over a month. To complement the castle's inherent beauty, Lena and David decided on a timeless and romantic palette of greens and neutral creams and pinks.

The bridesmaids wore the palest pink, tie-back gowns, using their selection of shoes.

"I let my bridesmaid choose their shoes to make sure they would be comfortable. I also wanted these phones to feel themselves and add their very own style for their outfits so that they could wear whichever accessories they liked."

Lena's gown would be a strapless, fit, and flare gown having a flowing train.

"My advice would be to not try a lot of similar wedding dresses on. I tried on a lot of variations from the same style also it became quite overwhelming attempting to choose from this type of similar bunch. I knew I wanted a lace dress with buttons on the back along with a long train, along with having a fit and flare silhouette."

Lena and David met in 2014 whilst residing in Aberdeen.

"After I graduated it had been time for all of us to move to London in 2015. We got engaged in August 2018 whilst in California during a visit to Yosemite National Park. It would be a complete surprise; I had no idea that David was able to take the ring towards the US with him and that he popped the question at 6 am whilst I was camping."

"Our original wedding was planned for June 2020 in Barcelona. We postponed it to August 2021 and finally canceled it at the beginning of August due to the uncertainty around travel and restrictions. We chose to have our wedding within the UK as quickly as possible."

"We had our legal wedding in Marylebone Old Town Hall in August 2021. Since this had been booked to visit alongside our original wedding in Spain, we chose to still proceed with the legal wedding. We are accustomed to living right around the corner from the Old Town Hall therefore the venue and area held lots of sentiment. It would be a wonderful day with family and good friends."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Enjoy every moment! It might be a clear one however the day does indeed go by in the blink of an eye. The great thing is the fact that you're playing amazing memories and photos to appear back on for years in the future. At the end of the day, being encompassed by your family and friends and lastly being able to obtain married would be the most important things."
