STEPH & LOUIS: REAL BRIDE STORY

We met in the Gambia whenever we were 16. I was on vacation with my grandparents and he was on vacation with his parents. As soon as our eyes met, both of us knew! It was love in the beginning sight - though it makes me cringe to express it! We had a long-distance relationship but managed to get work. Five years later he made the large move to live here beside me and we brought our first house. On Christmas Day in 2017, before my whole family, he got recorded on one knee and inquired about being his wife. It was the perfect moment!

We got married at St Leonards Church in Bretforton and also the reception was at The Manor House Hotel, Moreton-in-Marsh.

We opted for a classical, romantic theme with light and blush pink tones with cream. I was lucky enough to have a great relationship with my florist who I trusted and took advice from on which would make the church and venue look incredible, therefore we decided around the flowers after which everything else fitted into place.

The best bit was walking into the church and seeing the faces of the family and friends we like with a smile on their faces. We had a gospel choir within the church and also the mood only agreed to be full of love and happiness called the most warming feeling.

The funniest part of the wedding was the singing waiters my mum had organized without us knowing! They broke out into songs after our meal and did a 30-minute group of personalized songs! Was brilliant, then your look on my small dad's face when he realized he'd to follow that together with his speech!

I was laid back about everything, the largest priority in my experience and Louis was for everybody attending to possess a fun time, relax and become happy. We had a little choir in the church and also the songs we chose to allow them to sing were all happy, uplifting songs that individuals knew and were singing along to. We decided on a steel band for that drinks reception which saw guests become involved and set a genuinely happy atmosphere - one was playing when I and Louis met same with a sound that brings us happy memories.

I was completely unbiased about my wedding gown and did not have my heart set on any style or shape - I had a rough concept of what I desired to try on but was available to suggestions. I think the entire number of gowns I tried on was around 40 prom dresses when I found the main one. They were all 'nice' and all sorts of had bits I liked but additionally had bits that I wasn't 100% deeply in love with and I wasn't likely to settle for my special day. I wanted that WOW dress, so I was losing the desire to try any more on, however, when I found my dress, I knew immediately that it was the main one! It was called Harrie and I purchased it at feeltimes.com. I added a glitzy belt to my dress and handle the look having a long single-tier sheer veil with tiny crystals on. I wore a pearl bracelet and drop pearl necklace which had small pearls during my hair. I felt amazing!

Choosing as many suppliers that I knew and trusted even when they did cost a little more meant that I knew I wasn't going to become let down which took a lot of worrying away which feeling is priceless!
