Wedding dress 101 with FeelTimes

You answered the most crucial question – Will you marry me? – without hesitation. But when you are looking at the second most significant question – What dress are you going to wear? – it's a little more confusing.

To allow it to be all just a little easier FeelTimes answered probably the most commonly asked questions we hear from our brides because they embark upon their dress-shopping journey.

I don't usually wear wedding dresses. What is the right shape for my body system?

Our expert bridal stylists are here that will help you pinpoint the silhouette which brings out your best. Your stylist is experienced with so much knowledge and advice to express. Buying a wedding dress is much not the same as buying a dress at a favorite store. A typical wedding gown takes 100 hours to produce and may be embellished with beads, lace, sequins, and much more.

Here's some bridal terminology to allow it to be a little easier:

Ballgown: A fitted bodice combined with a dramatic full skirt.

Sheath: A slim cut that follows the body's natural shape.

Mermaid: Slim with the bodice and hips before flaring out.

A-Line: Trim on top with a skirt that widens gradually.

Short: Hemlines tea-length and better.

How far ahead of time should I start looking for a gown?

We would recommend arriving as early as you can, and here's why: Wedding dresses may take up to 24 weeks to reach and alterations may take 4-8 weeks. So be sure you give yourself time for you to allow for this. Of course, some weddings can – and do – occur within a few weeks and we will always meet any deadline you've and assist you to customize your thing for the most crucial day inside your life.

I've heard that bridal shops often don’t have a large range of sizes. What size range would you carry?

Here is how I get to speak about what is especially great about FeelTimes. We carry many of our styles can be found in sizes 0-30. If we don’t possess the exact style and size you would like, we all know that we will find something similar within the store to display your vision and inspiration.

What is the greatest way to look for bridesmaid dresses? Do my bridesmaids need a scheduled appointment?

Every bride and wedding party is different, but there are some constants when shopping for bridesmiad gowns. We always recommend booking a scheduled appointment for your wedding party so your stylist can assist you to pick out the design and style, fabric, and color, then use you and your party to make sure everything is ready over time for your event.

How should I get ready for my appointment?
